Villa Vuossel is a luxury holiday home which includes two separate flats. The Villa was completed 2009. It is situated by Lake Vuosselijärvi, opposite the East Ruka slopes. The lakeshore opens to the south. Villa Vuossel is located on a peaceful setting surrounded by the wilderness and a beautiful lake view. At the same time it is near the slopes and other Ruka village activities.

Ecological Holiday Aaccommodation

Villa Vuossel was built with careful consideration for ecological values. Geothermal power is used for underfloor heating, LED-lamps for lighting, and only renewable energy sources for electricity. The building is connected to municipal water supply and sewerage. In interior design our focus has been on high quality and local products, and only natural materials have been selected for use. This makes the flats well-suited for allergic persons as well as for the physically disabled. This is also the reason why there are no pets allowed. Modern furniture combined to Lappish décor and crafts artworks make a luxurious and comfortable setting for a satisfying holiday. There is a separate charge for bed linen and towels. Also the caterer service is available.

Lean-to and Campfire Site

There is a lean-to on the lakeshore with a safe campfire site attached. It is a beautiful, sunny spot for barbeque and for enjoying the magnificent view over the fells, with the clear lake surface reflecting the sky!
The lean-to will bring you an unforgettable experience in winter. Spend the night outdoors in the lean-to, in the warm glow of a slow burning log fire, under the star-lit sky of the frosty Lapland night. If you are lucky, you can see the magical flicker of the Northern Lights! With reindeer skins underneath and you inside a warm sleeping bag, you will not be cold. Car Shelter and Wood Shed

You will find firewoods in the wood shed. There is a recycling point with bins for different waste materials by the car shelter.
